I’m Nick. Product Manager working at the intersection of data infrastructure and AI.
At Airbyte I worked on data infrastructure and self-serve products. It’s where I fell in love with the problems that emerge when pipelines meet AI, and more recently how teams build and manage the data flows that power RAG-based systems.
On the side, I’m building VectorFlow, a tool that lets you configure RAG document processing pipelines through conversation, preview the output at each step, and iterate without reprocessing everything. Problems surface at config time, not when a user asks a question and gets nonsense back.
Previously: developer experience at Honeycomb, service mesh (Consul) at HashiCorp, and hybrid cloud (IBM Cloud Satellite) at IBM.
I write here to think through product challenges, dig into pipeline architecture, and occasionally share thoughts on books, travel, or whatever else is on my mind.
Outside of work: beach volleyball, hikes, learning Spanish, and finding excuses to travel.
